As a Sales Assistant based in Elgin, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing expert advice to customers by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations

• Handling customer queries and provide solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders

• Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends, and industry changes

• Coordinating with suppliers to source materials, check availability, and negotiate costs

• Completing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets

• Loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries and collections

This is a Full Time Permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08.00am- 5.00pm, Friday 08.00am- 4.00pm and Saturday 08.00am- 12.00pm on a rota basis.
