Job Description

Location: Newark, NJSalary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $170,000.00 USD AnnuallyDescription: Our client is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for one of our paper packaging clients in New Jersey area with hybrid expectations.
Experience with corrugated paper packaging is highly preferred. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Manage the creation of offers to direct customers, ensuring compliance with Company policies

·         Develop account leads and new accounts.

·         Coordinate with sales support with assigned customer portfolio and monitor ensuring compliance with pre-sales and after sales activities.

·         Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to drive growth in the US east coast region.

·         Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to potential customers and existing customers.

·         Improve customer experience and satisfaction, strengthening customer loyalty.

·         Analyze market dynamics and KPIs maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the current trends of sales, both business and product context, current offers and customer positions.

·         Prepare annual sales forecast in the assigned region, both in terms of volume and turnover.

·         Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or required by the Company from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s Degree.

·         Must have 5+ years of experience in the primary cosmetic packing and distribution industry under sales activities.

·         Strong business and financial acumen.

·         Possess negotiation skills.

·         Strong communication and presentation skills.

·         Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and the creation of new accounts.

·         Experience in ERP System, Navision or other related system.

·         Computer literacy in MS Office.

·         Required to meet with customers on a daily/weekly basis.
