Job Description
Position Summary:The Sales & Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for supporting sales operations while maintaining accurate inventory control in a food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment. This role ensures product availability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with industry standards and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to support sales demand
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and production teams to ensure product availability
- Track orders, shipments, and inventory movements
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports for management
- Ensure compliance with food industry regulations and standards
- Stay updated on industry trends affecting food, beverage, and CPG sectors
- Assist with forecasting, demand planning, and stock optimization
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding order status and inventory
Job Requirements:
- Experience in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry required
- Understanding of food safety regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and inventory management skills
- Experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
