Job Description

Do you want to work alongside a high performing team that matches your energy?

We're a founding team of tenured Entrepreneurs, Ivy League graduates, and the former manager of a $3 billion quant strategy. We partner with some of the largest, most prestigious hedge funds in the world.

WallStreetQuants trains people for quant finance jobs at hedge funds, banks and trading firms. Our students have landed offers at top firms. We sell a high-ticket program over the phone and Zoom to inbound leads who booked a call from our ads.

We are hiring a Sales Manager to run the sales team. You will own the number. You will hire the reps, train them, build the process and raise performance.

This is a management job, not a closing job. You should have closed high-ticket deals yourself, but your job here is to make a team of reps better. You must be willing to get your hands dirty, hopping on the phones when you want to experiment or feel out new strategies.

Be believe in any role to earn the respect of the team you must have the technical hands on experience.

What you will do:

  • Own team revenue, close rate, show rate and cash collected per booked call.
  • Recruit, interview and hire setters and closers. Build a bench so we are never short.
  • Build onboarding and training that gets a new rep to quota fast.
  • Review call recordings every day and coach reps one on one.
  • Run daily huddles and weekly pipeline and performance reviews.
  • Write and update scripts, objection handling and follow-up sequences.
  • Fix the leaks: no-shows, slow follow-up, deals lost on price or payment terms.
  • Keep the CRM (Close) clean so the numbers can be trusted.
  • Set quotas, scorecards and commission plans. Move out reps who do not perform.
  • Report to the CEO each week on what is working, what is not and what you are changing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years managing a high-ticket phone or Zoom sales team
  • You have scaled a team.
  • You have recruited and hired reps yourself, in volume.
  • You have built a training and onboarding program from scratch.
  • You have raised a team's close rate or cash per call and can explain exactly how.
  • You were a top closer before you managed.
  • You coach from call recordings and data, not gut feel.
  • You are strong in a CRM and comfortable with pipeline reporting. Close experience is a plus.
  • You have managed remote reps on commission.
  • Experience selling education, coaching or career programs is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $100,000–$130,000, plus significant uncapped performance bonuses tied to team revenue..
  • A product with globally recognized prestige + real student outcomes to sell.
  • You report directly to the CEO and have full authority over hiring, training and process.
