Our client is a custom home builder based in the greater Harrisburg area known for their high quality of work and attention to detail. They are seeking a Salesperson responsible for selling remodel projects within the local market. The ideal candidate will have foundational sales skills and knowledge of residential construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate sales leads via phone, email, website, open houses, realtors, trade shows, and other marketing events.
- Schedule home site visits with prospects.
- Explain the sales remodel process to prospects.
- Follow established construction standards and best practices for consistency
- Design remodel with clients using provided tools and technology
- Present and review pricing, specifications, and contracts with clients
- Promote and connect clients with outside designers for interior and exterior selections as needed
- Work with draftsman for plan updates and present revised plans to clients through the design process.
- Review and help clients make selections
- Obtain Design Agreements and Contracts, collect checks and provide to admin
- Attend Pre-Construction meetings for all remodels to share about the client and any specific requests the team should be aware of.
- Review Builder Trend project setup for accuracy
- Obtain allowance pricing from approved vendors for final customer pricing
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in construction or a related market
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred, not required)
- Experience with CRM programs, Builder Trend preferred
- Previous experience with residential construction
$40,000 - $50,000 a year
Base salary plus commission and bonus structure.
