Thermoforming – Contract Packaging – Custom Packaging Solutions
Talis Groups’ client is a growing Packaging & Logistics manufacturer specializing in thermoformed & flexible packaging solutions. They are seeking an experienced SalesRepresentative with a background in Contract Packaging to add to their team located in Louisville, KY . This is an in-office, hunter-focused role, ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives on building new business while also managing & expanding existing customer relationships. If you’ve sold packaging solutions into manufacturing environments & love chasing opportunity, this role offers strong earnings, stability, and long-term upside.
Minimal travel. In-office role, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Base salary of $70k-$75k- with proven earning potential of $120 – 130K, no cap.

HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES
- Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities.
- Grow and manage an existing customer base.
- Develop tailored packaging solutions based on customer needs.
- Communicate technical product capabilities clearly and confidently.
- Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor activity.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing for new projects.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain CRM activity, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasts.
- Execute short- and long-term business development strategies.
HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable industry experience.
- Experience selling packaging solutions (thermoforming preferred; flexible packaging strongly considered.)
- Background in manufacturing and/or contract packaging sales.
- Proven “hunter’ mindset with measurable sales results.
- Strong relationship-building & consultative selling skills.
- Ability to understand manufacturing processes & customer workflows.
- Organized, self-directed, and goal-driven.
- Strong communication, negotiation, & presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Experience with process and project management.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
