Sales Representative (Outside Sales)

Location: Huntsville, AL and surrounding North Alabama areas

Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven sales professional to help expand our footprint in the market.

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative to help generate new business and develop strong customer relationships. You will work directly with the owner to build and manage a sales pipeline, conduct prospecting efforts, and guide customers through the entire sales process-from inspection to project completion.

This is a high-impact role that will directly contribute to the company's continued growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partnering with the owner to build and execute a sales strategy
  • Generating and qualifying leads; entering prospects into the company CRM
  • Setting and conducting inspection appointments (minimum 5 per week)
  • Performing roof and exterior inspections (photos provided with company equipment)
  • Preparing detailed estimates and professional proposals
  • Following a structured sales process including consistent follow-up
  • Assisting homeowners with insurance claim documentation when needed
  • Creating material lists, work orders, and crew notes
  • Coordinating special-order materials with the owner
  • Turning over sold jobs to the Project Manager
  • Conducting final inspections and collecting payment upon project completion

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in outside sales (construction industry preferred)

  • Eagerness to learn about construction products and services
  • Comfortable working directly with business ownership

Compensation

  • Commission-only during initial 90-day period
  • After 90 days: Base salary + performance-based compensation
  • Company vehicle and phone reimbursement provided after 90 days
