Job Description:

This role is responsible for promoting and selling Wilsonart products across a diverse customer base including millwork fabricators, OEMs, kitchen and bath firms, furniture manufacturers, and contractors.

This position partners with Specification Representatives to support specification efforts within the design community while driving demand, developing new business, and growing existing accounts. The role requires a consultative sales approach and a strong focus on territory growth. Performs other tasks as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage time and resources to meet sales targets
  • Develop forecasts and execute territory growth strategies
  • Create demand across key customer segments and identify new opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement
  • Partner with Specification Representatives to support project opportunities and conversion
  • Analyze account activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in CRM
  • Stay current on product offerings, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Deliver a high level of service to support customer success
  • Position may require lifting up to 50 pounds and working in industrial environments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with CRM tools and pipeline management
  • Familiarity with consultative sales techniques
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of building materials or decorative surfaces preferred
  • Experience with specification and channel sales preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as needed

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or a closely related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience:

3+ years of proven field sales experience

Experience selling in the building materials space is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20-50lbs)

ENVIRONMENT:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Examples: executive, management and support positions
