Gardner, a division of Air Products, is looking for an ambitious Sales Representative based in Bethlehem, PA.

The focus of this role is to win profitable business aligned with overall organizational strategies through strong customer engagement and relationship building, differentiated products and services, and effective negotiation skills. This role will also support key business functions across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the spare parts sales process from order to final invoicing
• Support Sales support and customer service initiatives
• Be the point of contact for intercompany orders
• Support product diversification efforts
• Acquire customers through proactive outreach and relationship-building strategies.
• Meet or exceed assigned revenue and profit targets consistently.
• Initiate customer accounts accurately and promptly, ensuring all required details are collected.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and account setup processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and progress toward goals.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years sales or customer service experience
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, excel and Microsoft products
• Shown ability to work independently in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
• Strong curiosity about outside sales and face-to-face business development
• Excellent listening, communication, and objection-handling skills
• Shown success in selling, influencing, and closing deals
• Highly driven and goal-oriented approach
• Strong critical thinking and pipeline management skills
• Professional demeanor with polished verbal and written communication
• Must maintain a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to access and safely operate a reliable personal vehicle on an ongoing basis.
