Job Description

SAE Industry Technologies Consortia (ITC), Performance Review Institute (PRI) and SAE International (SAE), deliver shared solutions to industry's common challenges.Join us and create a higher standard for a better world.

Responsible for achieving annual revenue targets through the promotion and sale of professional development offerings, including private and public training, membership programs, and eLearning solutions. This role focuses on cultivating strong client relationships, driving business growth, and supporting the expansion of the PRI Training’s course global portfolio across the Americas region to support PRI’s strategic objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Professional Development Sales (90%)

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales targets for private training, memberships, eLearning programs, and public training courses in alignment with PRI Training revenue goals. Strategies may include:
    • Develop and manage key accounts by building trusted relationships with corporate clients, identifying training needs, and providing tailored learning solutions.
    • Proactively identify and qualify new leads through outreach, networking, industry events, referrals, and digital channels.
    • Execute strategic sales plans in line with organizational objectives, contributing to overall business growth within the Americas sector.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, positioning strategies, and refine sales approaches.
    • Collaborate with Marketing Department and PD Customer Success to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns for private training, membership and eLearning lead-generation initiatives.
    • Leverage CRM systems to manage pipelines, track performance metrics, and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
    • Coordinate with PRI Training global team to support the delivery and promotion of the global course portfolio, ensuring consistency of offerings across markets.
    • Ensure a seamless transition to the Delivery or Operations team, while remaining engaged as needed to support client satisfaction.
  • Cross-sell and upsell PRI Qualification, PRI and SAE complementary services and products to maximize client value and revenue opportunities.

New Products and Services (10%)

  • Identify opportunities for new product development based on client feedback, market trends, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with the PRI Learning Experience and Operations Teams on the development of new products and services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in sales
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to develop market, build trust and establish rapport with customers for short and long-term relationships
  • Strong customer service skills, ability to understand customer goals, tailor communications and offer personalized training solutions
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with appropriate computer application programs
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management tools (CRM)
  • Strong analytical skills to assess sales data and guide strategy
  • Translate insights into actionable outcomes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications preferred
  • Experience in Aerospace and/or Professional Development preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to travel at least 30% of the time
  • Ability to work for long periods at a computer/desk
  • Standard office environment
