Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Sales Trainee to join our growing insurance agency. This is a paid, structured training role designed for individuals who want to build a career in sales while learning the insurance industry from the ground up. Youll receive hands-on coaching, licensing support (if needed), and real-world sales experience with a clear path to advancement.

This role closely mirrors a traditional sales representative position, with added training and development.

Salary Range: $40000.00 - $60000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Learn the sales process by working directly with clients and prospects

Assist with generating new business through outbound calls, referrals, and lead follow-up

Conduct client needs assessments and help recommend appropriate insurance solutions

Present quotes and explain coverage options in a clear, customer-focused way

Build and manage a pipeline of prospects and opportunities

Meet individual sales goals as you progress through training

Support retention efforts through follow-ups and policy reviews

Participate in structured sales training, role-playing, and coaching sessions

Maintain accurate records and follow agency processes and compliance guidelines

Requirements

Interest in sales, customer service, or business development

Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with clients

Coachable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset

Ability to manage time and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

Insurance license (P&C and/or Life & Health) preferred or willingness to obtain
