Job Description
Salesforce Applications Developer & Administrator - Remote
iSphere is looking for a Salesforce Applications Developer & Administrator for a 10+ month remote opportunity.
This role will support a Salesforce Public Sector Solution and Grantmaking environment, so the client needs someone who is comfortable wearing both hats: building and administering the platform.
You will work with internal staff, grantees, and other stakeholders to understand what they need, turn that into practical Salesforce solutions, and then stay involved through configuration, testing, deployment, support, and ongoing improvement.
A big part of the job is Salesforce Flow, security, deployment management, data migration, reporting, and Public Sector configuration. You will also support Experience Cloud and help make sure users can actually understand and use what gets built.
What we need:
7+ years of Salesforce Flow automation experience
7+ years working with the Salesforce security model, including profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
7+ years of Salesforce DevOps and deployment management experience using Salesforce DX, version control, and CI/CD
7+ years of data migration and ETL experience
4+ years of Salesforce Platform configuration and administration in a Public Sector Solution environment
4+ years of Experience Cloud and Community Plus experience
4+ years of report and dashboard development
Strong experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and support
Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into workflows, automations, forms, reports, and data solutions
You will also help with data validation, integrations, production releases, system documentation, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform improvements.
The client also wants someone who can help build internal capability, not just deliver the solution and disappear. You will create training materials, job aids, reference guides, and user documentation, then work directly with staff to help them understand the system and become more self-sufficient.
The person who does well here will be technical enough to handle the platform and patient enough to explain it to people who do not live in Salesforce all day.
If you know Salesforce Public Sector, Flow, security, data, and deployment management and you are comfortable being both the builder and the go-to support person, we should talk.
