Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a Salesforce expert to be part of our Application Development Team. They will be responsible for working with internal/external stakeholders, business and IT teams, to perform solution design and implementation that meets ODM's business needs. As a Salesforce Architect, your responsibilities will include:

providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and standards.
leading complex initiatives for organizational improvement frameworks in assigned discipline/program (i.e. Salesforce Platform, Azure DevOps).
leading and/or participating in architecture and technical design sessions.
serving as a subject matter expert in project management best practices and risk management strategies, as applied to Salesforce implementations.
troubleshooting and resolving integration and technical issues.
researching and validating software release compatibility as well as potential solutions and products for future planning processes.
providing strategic roadmap and facilitating execution of strategies.
consulting with stakeholders (e.g. end-users, technicians, vendors, and management).

Education- Core undergraduate program in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

AND

Experience- Minimum 4 years combined work experience in any combination of the following: assisting with development and updates to the strategic Information Technology plan, participating in work groups to author Information Technology plan by discipline/program team and/or leading activities to achieve project tasks/meet deadlines, and performing solutions design for assigned discipline/program team (e.g., software development, infrastructure, database administration, security) including 2 years technology related work experience as specified by the agency position description and vacancy/job posting.
