Are you a Salesforce Business Analyst who enjoys solving problems, working with people, and finding better ways to use technology?

Our client is looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join their team and help turn business needs into practical Salesforce solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone who can work independently, communicate well with both technical and non-technical people, and enjoys being the person who helps connect the business with IT.

What You'll Do

In simple terms, you'll help the organization figure out what users need, explain those needs to the technical team, and make sure Salesforce is working the way it should.

Your day-to-day work may include:

  • Talking with employees and business teams to understand what they need.

  • Asking the right questions to determine what is truly needed versus what would simply be nice to have.

  • Turning conversations and business needs into clear requirements for the Salesforce team.

  • Creating easy-to-understand process maps, workflows, and documentation.

  • Helping design and improve Salesforce solutions.

  • Working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

  • Helping determine how Salesforce tools such as Flows and Approval Processes can automate work and make processes easier.

  • Creating Salesforce reports and helping users get the information they need.

  • Reviewing Salesforce data and understanding how different pieces of information are connected.

  • Helping test new Salesforce features and improvements with end users.

  • Leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Investigating problems, reviewing support tickets, and helping determine how issues should be fixed.

  • Helping train employees when new Salesforce features or processes are introduced.

  • Keeping documentation and procedures up to date.

  • Managing several projects or assignments at the same time and keeping them moving forward.

  • Working closely with business users, managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders.

  • Explaining technical information in a way that makes sense to people who aren't technology experts.

  • Helping less-experienced team members when needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with approximately 3–5 years of business or systems analysis experience who has meaningful hands-on Salesforce experience.

You don't need to know everything—but you should be comfortable working with Salesforce and talking with both business users and technical teams.

You'll Be a Strong Fit If You Have:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with Salesforce requirements or functional design.

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning.

  • Familiarity with Flows, Approval Processes, and Salesforce automation.

  • Experience creating Salesforce reports.

  • Understanding of Salesforce data and how Salesforce objects and information relate to one another.

  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.

  • Experience creating process documentation, workflows, and functional specifications.

  • Some experience with relational databases and basic SQL.

  • Experience with testing, UAT, troubleshooting, and support tickets.

  • Experience training or supporting end users.

  • Strong skills with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

The Person We're Looking For

We're especially interested in someone who:

  • Can work independently and take ownership of their assignments.

  • Enjoys figuring out why a problem is happening, not just treating the symptoms.

  • Can take a complicated business problem and turn it into a simple, workable solution.

  • Is comfortable asking questions and working with people at all levels of an organization.

  • Can manage multiple priorities without losing track of details.

  • Has a strong customer-service mindset.

  • Pays attention to details and takes pride in producing accurate work.

  • Can explain technology in plain English.

  • Enjoys improving processes rather than simply doing things the way they've always been done.

  • Is comfortable taking the lead when a project or problem needs someone to move it forward.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This role is more than simply gathering requirements. You'll have an opportunity to make a real impact on how people use Salesforce every day.

You'll work directly with business users and technical teams, help improve processes, contribute to Salesforce projects, and see your recommendations turn into real solutions.

If you enjoy being the bridge between people and technology, solving problems, and making systems easier and more effective to use, this could be a great fit.

Education

A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant systems or business analysis experience.

Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and relevant professional certifications may also be considered.
