Salesforce Certified Consultant

Our client is working toward becoming a Salesforce Consulting Partner. We are looking for certified professionals who will do real Salesforce project work with the client and, with their consent, have eligible certifications associated with the client's partner application.

The work may include scoping and configuring service requests, constituent case management, intake and approval workflows, grant tracking, custom development, and ongoing support of client environments. Public-sector experience is a plus.

Key responsibilities

Responsibilities depend on your certification profile:

Agentforce Service Consultant

• Turn business requirements into case management processes; configure case routing, queues, service targets, knowledge articles, and service dashboards

Platform Developer

• Build and troubleshoot Apex code and Lightning components; choose Flow vs. custom code; write tests and manage releases between environments

Platform App Builder

• Build custom objects, fields, relationships, and user screens; configure permissions, validation rules, and automated workflows

Platform Administrator

• Manage users, permissions, and record access; maintain data quality; build reports and dashboards; configure layouts and Flow; resolve user issues

All consultants will also:

• Contribute to client projects from requirements through rollout
• Document configuration and changes for end clients and the consulting team
• Keep certifications current and in good standing

Required certifications and qualifications

You must hold at least one current, verifiable Salesforce certification from this list:

Agentforce Service Consultant

• Service Cloud Consultant 2–5 years professional experience; Salesforce implementation and customer support knowledge; Platform Administrator is a prerequisite

Platform Developer

• Platform Developer I, PD1 1–2 years development experience, 6+ months on the Lightning Platform

Platform App Builder

• App Builder 6–12 months building applications on Salesforce

Platform Administrator

• Salesforce Certified Administrator 6+ months hands-on Salesforce administration

All candidates must also:

• Show hands-on work: explain a past implementation and your personal contribution
• Provide a current certification verification link or Trailhead record
• Consent to having eligible certifications associated with the client's partner application
• Be available for part-time 1099 work directly with the client
• Disclose any employer or Salesforce partner affiliation that could conflict with this arrangement

Preferred qualifications

• Two or more of the certifications above (e.g., Administrator plus App Builder or Service Consultant)
• Customer support or contact center implementation experience
• Public-sector or government client experience
• Prior programming background (Java, JavaScript, C#) for developer candidates
• Integration experience, screened separately from the Platform Developer credential
