Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud Architect
Location: Dallas, Raleigh, Indiana, Chicago, NJ, Hartford, Phoenix
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale customer data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), data architecture, and integration strategies, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions across enterprise environments
- Define and implement data models, identity resolution, and data harmonization strategies
- Design and build Unified Customer Profiles, including ingestion, transformation, and mapping of data from multiple sources
- Develop and optimize data ingestion frameworks (batch, streaming, APIs, connectors)
- Integrate Data Cloud with Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) and external systems
- Establish and enforce data governance, data quality, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
- Enable segmentation, calculated insights, and activation strategies for personalized customer engagement
- Integrate with analytics and AI platforms (Einstein, Tableau, external ML tools) for advanced insights
- Design and implement enterprise data architecture, including integration with data lakes and warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
- Support real-time use cases such as personalization, next-best-action, and event-driven processing
- Provide leadership in solution architecture, design governance, and delivery execution
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and executive leadership to align solutions with organizational goals
- Mentor technical teams and guide onshore/offshore resources
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform)
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions across industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, or Automotive
- Strong expertise in data modeling, identity resolution, and customer data unification
- Experience with data ingestion patterns (batch, streaming, APIs, connectors)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and integration patterns, including MuleSoft and APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, and data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

- Salesforce certifications such as:
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Application Architect / System Architect
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant
- Integration Architect
- Experience with AI/ML integration and advanced analytics
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time processing frameworks
