Are you a skilled and versatile developer with a passion for Salesforce? NextEra Energy is seeking a talented individual to support our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) business unit. Based in our GEXA Energy office in vibrant Houston, TX, you'll have the opportunity to work on critical Salesforce initiatives and collaborate with a dynamic team.

About the Role

Your role will involve working closely with the development lead to prioritize and deliver high-impact projects. You'll design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions, and provide technical guidance to offshore teams. Additionally, you'll support production issues and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
Proficiency in Apex, including triggers, classes, batch, scheduled, queueable, and future jobs
Experience building UI solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce
Experience with REST and SOAP APIs
Familiarity with event-driven integration patterns
Hands-on experience with middleware or ETL platforms like MuleSoft
Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and security model
Experience with Flow and deployment tools
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification

Preferences

Experience with Vlocity CLM and Vlocity Product Console
Hands-on experience with OmniStudio
Familiarity with Salesforce Energy & Utility Cloud
Business knowledge of the electric industry
Experience in a hybrid onshore/offshore delivery model
Salesforce Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer, or Administrator certification
