Job Title: Salesforce Developer Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Type: Contract Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST The candidate must be local to Connecticut and able to work in the office 2 days every 2 weeks or 1 day per week. The candidate must also attend at least one in-person interview.

Position Summary

The Client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer / Salesforce Developer to support existing custom Salesforce applications and participate in the SDLC process for the new CT-KIND system. The candidate will be involved in requirements verification, design, development, testing, maintenance, and application support, while working with the System Integrator to support knowledge transfer and ongoing maintenance.

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of Salesforce development experience and strong knowledge of foundational Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in Apex.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements verification, design, development, testing, maintenance, and support.
Design and develop solutions using Salesforce Apex, Lightning Pages, and Visualforce Pages.
Develop full-stack Salesforce solutions using OOP, CRUD, design patterns, configuration, and SOQL.
Apply advanced Salesforce development knowledge, including Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
Analyze and provide requirements for integrating applications.
Support existing custom Salesforce applications and participate in development of the new CT-KIND system.
Work with the System Integrator to ensure knowledge transfer and ongoing maintenance of assigned application modules.
Create and maintain required technical documentation.
Drive work from requirements through implementation.
Troubleshoot technical issues and apply strong abstract thinking and problem-solving skills.
Communicate effectively with technical teams, management, and stakeholders.
Work independently while collaborating effectively with the development team.
Mentor less experienced staff and contribute technical expertise to accomplish project goals.

Required Skills and Experience

10+ years of professional experience demonstrating the required technical knowledge and skills.
5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Strong Salesforce Apex OOP development experience.
Strong knowledge of Design Patterns.
.NET OOP and SOA.
JavaScript Frameworks.
SQL.
End-to-End Web Development.
Experience with C#.
Experience with Web Services and Windows Services.
Experience with Agile Development Methodology.
Strong presentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a self-directed, organized, and proactive manner.
