Position Description We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solution on the Salesforce platform. This role requires working closely with developers, Salesforce admins, QA engineers, and technical leadership to deliver reliable, maintainable, and high performing backend solutions. This role focuses on Apex development, integrations, platform optimization, code quality, and continuous improvement within an Agile work environment.Your future duties and responsibilities Backend Development- Develop and maintain backend solutions using Salesforce technologies o Apex classes o Triggers o Batch, queueable, and scheduled jobs- Implement business logic based on functional and technical requirements- Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable backend solutions- Follow platform standards and development best practicesCollaboration & Technical Planning- Collaborate with: o Backend & frontend developers o Salesforce Administrators o QA Engineers o Technical Team Lead + Solution Architect- Participate in: o Technical discussions o Solution design sessions o Requirement refinement o Technical estimation and implementation planning- Support backend architecture and implementation decisions Performance and Platform Optimization- Optimize backend logic for Salesforce platform performance and governor limits- Ensure efficient: o SOQL/SOSL query usage o Transaction handling o Asynchronous processing- Design scalable and maintainable backend solutions- Refactor and improve legacy code as part of ongoing development efforts Code Quality & Maintenance- Maintain and enhance the Salesforce backend codebase- Ensure code is: o Clean o Well-structured o Maintainable o Extensible- Participate in: o Code reviews o Refactoring initiatives o Technical improvement efforts Testing & Quality Assurance- Write and maintain: o Apex test classes o Backend test scenarios- Perform sprint item testing before QA handoff- Support QA engineers by: o Explaining functionality o Assisting with troubleshooting o Helping validate test scripts and scenarios Integrations & API Support- Support and maintain REST API integrations- Maintain: o Postman collections o API documentation and request examples- Assist with integration troubleshooting and backend API support Version Control & Deployment Support- Use Git for: o Version control o Branch management o Code synchronization- Prepare backend changes for deployment across environments- Support deployment activities and releases Continuous Improvement- Follow Salesforce and software engineering best practices- Ensure solutions are: o Secure o Scalable o Maintainable o Extensible- Stay current with: o Salesforce platform updates and releases o Emerging development tools and patterns o New Salesforce features and capabilities- Contribute to improving: o Development standards o Code quality o Team efficiency o Platform optimizationRequired qualifications to be successful in this role Technical Skills. Apex. Salesforce Triggers. SOQL/SOSL. Salesforce asynchronous processing. Salesforce Data Model. REST APIs. Postman. Git/version control. Debugging and log analysisPreferred Qualifications- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Understanding of scalable backend architecture principles- Good communication and collaboration activitiesEducation & Experience- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field- Experience developing backend solutions on Salesforce platform using Apex and related technologies#LI-1269610_CJ
