Job Description
The Salesforce Developer role in Columbus, Ohio involves developing, customizing, and enhancing Salesforce applications using a variety of tools and technologies including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Omnistudio, and integrations. The developer will also perform code reviews, support DevOps practices, and collaborate with business personnel to ensure requirements are met. This is a 12+ month contract position with a regular 8am to 5pm EST shift.
Responsibilities:- Develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Omnistudio components (Flexcards, Omniscripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
- Perform code reviews and serve as a technical lead when assigned.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and integration tools such as Mulesoft.
- Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD using tools like Gearset or Copado, and manage version control systems.
- Use Salesforce data loader, workbench, and other tools for data management.
- Ensure requirements are well-defined, approved, and development standards are met.
- Work with business personnel to clarify and approve requirements.
- Perform impact analyses and assist with design reviews.
- Perform Salesforce admin tasks including user support, data management, security standards definition, system configuration, data analytics, and process automation.
- Support software deployment tasks in non-production and production environments.
- 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- 2-3 years of experience working with the Omnistudio platform.
- 5+ years of experience with Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Salesforce APIs, and Lightning Web Components.
- Proficiency in Salesforce data loader, workbench, and other Salesforce data management tools.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Gearset or Copado.
- Ability to perform Salesforce administration tasks including security, configuration, and automation.
- 6 months to 1 year experience working on public sector solutions, specifically Grants Management.
- Experience guiding teams to resolve issues related to Salesforce Omnistudio public sector foundation product.
- Experience migrating data or designing new solutions on Salesforce OmniStudio Public Sector Foundation platform.
- Experience developing Experience Cloud sites.
- Strict adherence to agency application development standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business area personnel to ensure thorough requirements definition and approval.
- Regular shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
- Position duration is a 12+ month contract with the possibility of extension.
