Job Description
Position Title: Salesforce Field Service (SFS) - SME
Work Location: Dallas, TX/LA
Duration: 12 plus months contract with possible extension
Field Services Lead
The Field Service Lead designs, implements, and leads the deployment of Salesforce Field Service (SFS) solutions along with other Integrating applications (Oracle, Manhattan, 3rd Party systems) translating business needs into technical strategies and ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Key responsibilities include facilitating discovery sessions, creating solution designs, overseeing integrations, and providing architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires deep knowledge of SFS features like scheduling, resource management, and mobile capabilities, along with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Requirements:
Lead discovery sessions, understand client business processes and constraints, and define project scope and technical/functional requirements.
- Solution Design:
Design robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with business objectives, using best practices for the Salesforce platform.
- Technical Oversight:
Provide architectural leadership for integrations, data models, customizations, and platform performance.
- Implementation Guidance:
Guide project teams, lead technical teams, and provide hands-on configuration support, including Flows, scheduling policies, and work rules.
- Testing & Validation:
Oversee testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT), to ensure the solution functions as expected.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as a trusted advisor, manage client expectations, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of SFS features, including scheduling and optimization, resource management, inventory, and the Mobile Workforce Management app.
- Expertise in designing data models, integrations, and multi-component solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, such as Flows, and knowledge of platform security features.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively lead teams and advise clients.
