The company offers the client and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning which provides heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and commercial and residential building services, parts, support, and controls; energy services and building automation.
Position: Salesforce Field Service Consultant
Location: Davidson, NC 28036

Job Description:
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis discipline with practical Salesforce solution experience, focus on Field Service and Field Service Mobile. They are comfortable leading workshops, challenging assumptions, documenting end-to-end requirements, partnering with technical teams, and helping drive enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions from concept through deployment. They understand both the operational realities of field service organizations and the technical considerations required to implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates customer requirements and solution design workshops
- Gather requirements and conduct business process analysis related to features and functionality across Trane Technologies Strategic Business Units
- Captures and maps business requirements to system/technical requirements and identifies gaps and risks
- Assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations, and testing
- Understands the technical depth of the project and validates the correct resources for the project
- Manages and participates in the entire software development lifecycle
- Recommends alternative approaches, analyzes impacts, and provides sizing estimates
- Participates in and facilitates development efforts to execute upon needed requirements or solution design changes to support improvements to the user experience
- Manage the development of project backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria for development
- Serve as a subject matter expert to drive development decisions and prioritization
- Participate in support of existing, complex multi-disciplined solutions and in future implementations
- Collaborate with business functions and other IT teams to define, plan, model, govern, and implement Salesforce capabilities
- Proactively communicate risks associated with solution design integrity to key stakeholders
- Ensure ownership and accountability to effectively resolve gaps systemically to completion
- Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality and data standards
Qualifications:
- User experience design and usability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and consultative skills
- An analytical mindset, problem solving and presentation skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work with the project team within the agile methodology
- Experience working with Jira
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate and clearly articulate where business functionality can be mapped to Salesforce out of the box functionality versus requiring customization
- Understand, embed and champion internal Salesforce Center of Excellence best practices with customers
- Experience designing or supporting business solutions for:
- work orders
- service appointments
- dispatch and scheduling
- technician mobility
- service territories and resources
- field execution workflows
- Strong experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with third-party systems
- Experience supporting data migrations from third-party systems into Salesforce
- Working knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities including
- Salesforce Field Service and SF field Service Mobile
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud / Communities
- Marketing Cloud
- Bachelor's degree
