Salesforce Functional Development Engineer (FDE) Job Description
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Design and configure scalable solutions across Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Create user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Configure Salesforce features such as Flows, approval processes, security settings, reports, and dashboards.
- Partner with architects and developers to ensure business requirements are effectively implemented and aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Lead requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, solution demonstrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support data migration, system integrations, release management, and production deployment activities.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot functional issues, and drive continuous platform optimization.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and ensure high-quality delivery through collaboration, testing, and governance.

- 10+ years of Salesforce functional consulting, business analysis, solution design, configuration, and implementation experience.
