Earn $16.00/hour while playing an important role in keeping a food manufacturing facility clean, sanitary and running safely.This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in doing a thorough job, pays attention to the details and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work!What You'll Do
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and processing areas
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble machinery as required
- Safely use approved cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
- Clean floors, drains, walls and surrounding production areas
- Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Properly dispose of waste and keep work areas clean
- Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP and company sanitation standards
- Maintain required sanitation records and documentation
- Report equipment problems, safety hazards and sanitation concerns
- Wear required PPE and follow workplace safety procedures
- Work with production and quality teams to help prevent contamination
- Dependable with good attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable performing hands-on cleaning and sanitation work
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to work around production equipment and approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to follow strict food safety and sanitation procedures
- Team-oriented with a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Previous sanitation, food production, manufacturing or industrial cleaning experience is helpful
- $16.00/hour
