Job Description
Sanitation Manager
A Pacific Northwest manufacturing facility, supported by a national organization, is seeking a Sanitation Manager to build and lead a high-performing sanitation program. This is a hands-on builder role, ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Build, train, and lead the sanitation team
- Ensure 100% on-time pre-operational readiness for production
- Own the Environmental Monitoring Program (Zones 1–4) and corrective actions
- Develop and maintain SSOPs, CIP/COP processes, and the Master Sanitation Schedule
- Lead sanitation through SQF, FDA, and customer audits
- 5+ years of sanitation experience in food or beverage manufacturing, including 3+ years in leadership
- Proven experience building or improving a sanitation program
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, FSMA; GFSI experience required
- Hands-on pathogen control experience; Listeria preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Lead-from-the-front management style
