Genesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking SAP Asset Accounting and Real Property Consultant with a passion for growth and business transformation for an a public sector client in Arlington, VA. Join our team and utilize SAP technology to configure, develop, deliver and support applications for our clients while leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe. Our clients are some of the world's leading companies and the candidate will be a part of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This project is an integrated, business management system that enables financial and real property management capabilities including funds distribution, execution, reporting, and accounting, as well as, real property accountability, maintenance, and asset accounting. This is not an update of legacy systems; rather, it replaces legacy systems with SAP's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution. The program provides a world-class financial and cost accounting system that is transforming the way our client does business by integrating financial and performance data, providing accurate and timely data, producing reliable cost information for decision-making, enabling better leveraging of current resources in day-to-day operations, and supporting clean financial audits. The program integrates financial, real property, cost and performance data, and business intelligence into a Web-based ERP system. The candidate will work with existing team lads in SAP Asset Accounting and Real Property teams to provide on-going production support for our client's web-based ERP.
Member of Asset Accounting and Real Property team providing support for SAP go-lives and post-production support
Collaborate on Asset Accounting and Real Property process design and best practice enhancements
Support setup of master data and transferring master data between SAP and Asset Accounting and Real Property
Configuration support of client SAP Asset Accounting and Real Property
Coordinate and conduct process reviews
Support security role definition
Perform installation and migration of new or upgraded components to the production environment as per the approved test processes.
Work and coordinate with client to install the new or upgraded components to the production environment
Participate in post-implementation review of implemented system changes
Ensure all configuration changes are documented in the CMDB
Develop user training (Computer Based Training and Instructor Lead Training) as required by the client to fulfill knowledge transfer to users
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
5+ Years of SAP ECC Functional experience
3+ years of configuration and production support experience in SAP Asset Accounting and Real Property modules
Experience with relevant software and operating systems, such as ERP and business intelligence (BI) software, financial systems, relevant programming languages, or operating systems
Prior DoD/public sector experience preferred
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
Required Certifications:
No required certifications.
SAP, Agile, SAFe certifications desired.
Other:
Must be US Citizen
Having an Active DoD Secret clearance preferred or Ability to Obtain it
Willingness to be on-site daily
