SAP Finance Analyst (CO-PA/CO-PC/BI/SAC)

The SAP Finance Analyst plays a key role in VEKA’s SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation, supporting, enhancing, and optimizing SAP Finance and Controlling solutions with a focus on Account-Based CO-PA, Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC), embedded analytics, BI reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This role partners closely with Finance, Controlling, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders at VEKA to enable a successful transition to S/4HANA while delivering accurate financial insights, high-quality data, and real-time, data-driven decision-making across the organization. The SAP Finance Analyst leverages data and analytics to support recommendations, resolves matters constructively and continuously improves financial reporting and performance visibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

SAP Finance & Controlling Support

· Support and enhance SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling processes, with emphasis on:

o Account-Based CO-PA and S/4HANA profitability reporting

o CO-PC including product cost planning, standard costing, cost estimates, and variance analysis

o Integration with FI, MM, PP, and SD in an S/4HANA environment

· Participate in S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including system design, data migration validation, testing, and post-go-live stabilization.

· Act as a subject matter expert for SAP Finance-related inquiries, incidents, and enhancement requests.

· Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, leveraging S/4HANA capabilities to improve efficiency, transparency, and reporting.

Reporting, Analytics & KPIs

· Design, develop, and maintain analytics leveraging S/4HANA embedded analytics, SAP BW/BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

· Build real-time dashboards and management reports aligned with S/4HANA Finance data models.

· Define, calculate, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, margin, profitability, and operational efficiency.

· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial and controlling data across S/4HANA and downstream reporting tools.

· Translate business requirements into actionable, real-time financial insights enabled by S/4HANA.

Business Partnership & Collaboration

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and IT.

· Facilitate meetings to gather requirements and align business needs.

· Communicate complex financial and technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

· Build strong working relationships that promote trust, transparency, and collaboration.

Data-Driven Decision Support/Documentation

· Leverage S/4HANA real-time data, analytics, and SAC planning capabilities to support opinions, recommendations, and business cases.

· Analyze trends, variances, and key value drivers impacting cost and profitability in a manufacturing environment.

· Partner with business leaders to use S/4HANA insights to support strategic, tactical, and operational decision-making.

· Maintain accurate S/4HANA system documentation, configuration records, and process flows.

· Support internal controls, data governance standards, and audit requirements within an S/4HANA Finance landscape.

· Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and automate processes using S/4HANA best practices and tools.

· Address system, data, or process-related issues in a constructive and solutions-oriented manner.

· Balance competing priorities and perspectives while maintaining focus on business outcomes.

· Escalate issues appropriately with clear analysis and recommended paths forward.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

· Proven experience as an SAP Analyst or SAP Finance/Controlling professional.

· Hands-on experience in an SAP S/4HANA Finance environment or active involvement in an S/4HANA transformation project.

· Strong knowledge of:

o Account-Based CO-PA in S/4HANA

o SAP CO-PC (product costing, cost estimates, variances)

o S/4HANA embedded analytics, SAP BW/BI, and reporting concepts

o SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex financial and operational data.

· Clear, confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

· Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy focus and comfortable using data and analytics to influence decisions

· Business-minded with a continuous improvement mindset

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience leading or supporting an SAP ECC to S/4HANA Finance transformation.

· Manufacturing or industrial industry experience.

· Strong understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S/4HANA Finance data structures.

· Experience with S/4HANA migration tools, testing cycles, and data validation.

· Exposure to SAC planning, predictive analytics, or advanced data modeling.

· SAP certification(s) in S/4HANA Finance, Controlling, or Analytics.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

· Travel requirement 10% or less for national and international travel.

· This position follows a hybrid work schedule, typically consisting of three days onsite and two days of remote work per week.
