Job Title: SAP SME Manufacturing (Supply Chain Functional Consultant) Duration: 12 Months Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week) Exp. Level: 10+years Typical Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more SAP functional areas (e.g., FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, HR, SuccessFactors).
- Analyze business processes and design optimized SAP solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
- Configure SAP systems, prepare functional specifications, and support technical development.
- Conduct fit- gap analysis, UAT, and SIT .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across modules.
- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, industry, and regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, SOX).
- Deep expertise in SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA Finance, Logistics, or Manufacturing).
- Strong understanding of business process design , integration points , and master data management .
- Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations , migrations , or upgrades .
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology , Solution Manager , and Cloud ALM .
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
