Role Summary
Seeking an experienced SAP SD QA & Test Automation Lead to lead Quality Assurance for a large-scale SAP transformation program.
The ideal candidate combines strong SAP SD / OTC functional knowledge with proven experience in SAP QA, test automation, Panaya, and enterprise testing.
The role will establish a risk-based testing approach across the programme and help build a reusable automated SAP regression capability for ongoing releases and future SAP transformation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall SAP QA and testing strategy.
- Apply strong SAP SD / OTC knowledge to support end-to-end business process testing.
- Lead SIT, UAT, regression and performance/volume testing as required.
- Establish risk-based testing approaches, quality gates and test standards.
- Lead test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
- Use Panaya for structured test execution, evidence, defect management and automation.
- Assess and enhance existing SAP regression coverage.
- Develop a reusable, automated regression test pack using Panaya.
- Coordinate testing across SAP SD, Finance, Vistex and integrated systems.
- Support test data, environment and integration readiness.
- Work closely with functional, technical and business teams.
- Provide clear quality, risk and go-live readiness reporting.
- Support knowledge transfer and transition of QA assets into ongoing support.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP experience.
- Strong hands-on SAP SD / OTC experience.
- Strong SAP S/4HANA experience.
- Significant SAP testing / QA leadership experience.
- Proven experience with SIT, UAT, regression and defect management.
- Hands-on Panaya experience.
- Experience with SAP test automation and regression testing.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP SD processes and SD integration with Finance and other SAP modules.
- Experience working with integrated SAP landscapes and interfaces.
- Strong JIRA and Agile / Agile-hybrid experience.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with distributed onshore/offshore teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vistex experience.
- SAP RISE experience.
- SAP FI/CO or RAR knowledge.
- Data migration and reconciliation testing experience.
- Performance / volume testing experience.
- Experience building reusable enterprise regression assets.
- Media & Entertainment industry experience.
- Experience supporting AMS / Managed Services transition.
