SAP Senior Developer / Consulting Director

Title: SAP Senior Developer / Consulting Director (11244)Location: Columbia, SC (Fully Onsite – 5 Days/Week)Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)Interview Process: One Round – Virtual/OnlineCandidate Location Requirement: Must be a current South Carolina resident. No relocation permitted.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture

• Develop SAP ABAP implementation and maintenance strategies, processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Design and support SAP ECC FI Treasury solutions and integrations with existing SAP systems and external data sources.
• Assist in defining hardware and landscape requirements for Treasury functionality enhancements.
• Develop high-level implementation roadmaps for SAP Treasury initiatives.
• Create and maintain ABAP solutions supporting Treasury business processes.
• Develop test plans and validation strategies for implemented solutions.
• Leverage SAP platform capabilities to design scalable and efficient solutions.

Development & Technical Leadership

• Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into SAP ABAP solutions.
• Design, develop, configure, test, document, and implement SAP Treasury-related functionality.
• Build and maintain high-performance SAP ABAP programs and applications.
• Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (WRICEF objects).
• Support SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA upgrade activities.
• Apply performance tuning, troubleshooting, OSS notes, and support pack implementation.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Extract and process data from spreadsheets, flat files, and non-traditional data sources.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Provide formal and informal knowledge transfer to team members.
• Conduct peer coaching, paired programming, documentation, and classroom training sessions.
• Develop technical documentation and training materials.

General Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, and management.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and project concerns proactively.
• Support Treasury module implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Participate in S/4HANA migration and modernization efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, or related field, or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of SAP ABAP Solution Architecture experience including analysis, design, and development.
• 10+ years of SAP ECC FI Module experience.
• 10+ years of experience with SAP Web Application Server (WEB AS).
• 10+ years of experience with:
  • Object-Oriented ABAP
  • ABAP Objects
  • ABAP Unit
  • Shared Memory Objects
  • Custom Reports and Dialog Programming
  • ABAP Web Dynpro Applications
  • BAPI/BAP/FRC Development
  • SAP Enhancement Framework
  • ABAP Workbench
• 10+ years of practical experience with SAP upgrades, OSS Notes, Support Packs, and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP XI/PI (Process Integrator).
• Knowledge of EDI and ACH processing.
• 5+ years of SAP Public Sector experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ABAP development, performance monitoring, and tuning.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Public Sector ABAP development experience supporting WRICEF objects.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0, SRM, and BW environments.
• Experience with SAP Treasury, Banking, Investment Management, and Debt Management modules.
• Experience supporting S/4HANA implementations and migrations.
• Project Management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
