Position Overview
- Experienced SAP Tester with strong functional testing expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), SAP Materials Management (MM), and enterprise integration scenarios involving MuleSoft APIs/interfaces.
- Responsible for end-to-end test planning, scenario identification, test case preparation, test execution, defect management, regression testing, integration validation, and business user support.
- Experience testing SAP and connected enterprise systems across implementation, upgrade, transformation, support, and enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, integration designs, and process flows for SAP PM, SAP MM, and MuleSoft-connected interfaces.

- Execute functional, system integration, end-to-end, regression, smoke, sanity, and production validation testing.

- PM-MM Integration Touchpoints
- Perform integration testing between SAP, MuleSoft APIs, middleware services, external applications, reporting systems, and upstream/downstream enterprise systems.
- Review MuleSoft integration payloads, API responses, error messages, data mappings, transformation rules, and interface logs.
- Coordinate with MuleSoft developers and technical teams to troubleshoot integration issues.
- Identify, log, prioritize, track, retest, and close defects.
- Work with defect management tools such as Jira, qTest, ALM, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
- Coordinate with SAP functional consultants, MuleSoft developers, business SMEs, product owners, QA leads, and project managers.
- Support UAT preparation, business user coordination, test execution, defect triage, release readiness reviews, and go-live validation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, test design reviews, defect triage, release meetings, and retrospectives.
- Follow QA processes and maintain reusable test assets.
- Provide accurate test progress and quality reporting to stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience in SAP functional testing, particularly SAP PM and SAP MM.
- Strong understanding of SAP PM and MM integration points.

- Experience testing SAP integrations with middleware and API platforms, preferably MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

- Excellent communication skills with business, functional, technical, and integration teams.

- Experience with SAP EAM and Work and Asset Management transformation programs.
- Experience with utility industry processes.

- Experience testing SAP PM/MM processes in implementation, upgrade, transformation, support, or enhancement projects.
- Experience working on integration-heavy programs involving SAP, MuleSoft, external systems, and API/interface validation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactively identify gaps in requirements, test data, interface behavior, and business processes.
- Strong understanding of enterprise release management, change control, test governance, and production validation practices.
