This position is responsible for operating band saw equipment and overhead cranes to cut and move metal materials while maintaining accuracy, quality, and production efficiency.The ideal Saw Operator has previous experience with industrial cutting equipment, overhead cranes, and material handling in a manufacturing environment.Required Experience & Skills Previous experience operating a band saw in a manufacturing or industrial environment required Overhead crane experience REQUIRED Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow detailed work instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials regularly Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED Ability to work independently and as part of a teamEssential Duties & Responsibilities Operate band saw equipment to cut materials according to work orders and specifications Safely operate overhead cranes to move and stage materials throughout the facility Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and production documents Inspect raw materials and finished cuts for quality and accuracy Verify dimensions using tape measures and measuring tools Maintain production schedules while ensuring quality standards are met Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines Assist with general production and material handling duties as neededPreferred Qualifications Experience working with metal fabrication or structural steel materials Forklift experience Manufacturing or industrial production background Familiarity with shop safety procedures and material handling equipmentPhysical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the shift Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and industrial equipment Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment for extended periodsWork Environment Industrial manufacturing facility Exposure to machinery, steel materials, overhead cranes, and production equipment Fast-paced environment requiring constant attention to safety and accuracy PPE required while working on the production floorWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay based on experience Stable Monday Friday 2nd shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to utilize and expand fabrication and material handling skills Team-oriented environment with growth potentialReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text us at 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also walk in and apply at:1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PMStand-By Personnel
