Location: Midtown Tulsa, OKPay: $20.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM (hours may vary based on production needs)Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description
HireCall is seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join a busy pipe fabrication shop in Midtown Tulsa. The ideal candidate will have experience operating bandsaws, reading blueprints, measuring accurately, and using standard fabrication shop tools.
Responsibilities
- Operate shop bandsaws to cut pipe accurately.
- Read tape measures and perform precise measurements.
- Identify pipe diameters, material grades, and wall thicknesses.
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Cut, bevel, grind, and prepare pipe for fabrication.
- Safely operate shop equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Previous welding or pipe fabrication shop experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of pipe sizes, material grades, and wall thicknesses.
- Experience operating pneumatic pipe bevelers, oxy/acetylene pipe bevelers, oxy/acetylene torches, plasma torches, die grinders, 4.5" angle grinders, and drill presses.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
