Enter and maintain accurate scale tickets using Fisher Sand & Gravel's scale software/systemMaintain accurate daily sales records and provide haul reports as requested
Balance the daily receipts to ensure accurate recordkeeping and appropriate billing
Communicate with truck drivers, customers, dispatchers, and plant personnel regarding loading and hauling operations
Maintain the cleanliness of the work area.Acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner towards customers and co-workersAbility to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise
Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GEDValid driver's license/clear record and reliable transportation required
Pre-employment physical required after conditional offer has been made
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate a wide range of scales accurately
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and record information
Ability to work well under pressure
Dependable and punctual with ability to maintain consistent attendance
Experience in an environment outside the home with computers and various software programs
Must be willing to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as needed
Ability to work independently and make routine decisions while following company procedures
Ability to perform basic math calculations involving weights, quantities, and measurements
