As a Scarfing Production Worker, youll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality leather strips by inspecting and preparing them for assembly, contributing to the production of premium leather products. Youll work closely with our skilled team to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.What Youll Do: As a Scarfing Production Worker, you will be responsible for inspecting leather strips for quality, removing defective parts, and applying beveled splices at each end of the leather strips. You will operate and adjust machines to ensure proper thickness and fit of the splices, sharpen knives using grinding machines, and ensure materials meet the required specifications. Attention to detail, precision, and adherence to safety procedures are essential. You will also learn to calibrate and maintain equipment for different leather types and order specifications.What Youll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent*
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred*
