American Sign Language (ASL) InterpreterFull-Time | 2026–2027 School Year | School-BasedWe are seeking an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a schoolsetting for the upcoming school year. The interpreter will provide real-time interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities to ensure students have full access to communication and learning.Responsibilities include interpreting classroom instruction and school-related communication, facilitating interaction between students, teachers, and peers, supporting communication access across academic and school activities, collaborating with educators and special education teams, participating in IEP meetings when appropriate, and maintaining accurate documentation while following confidentiality and professional standards.Qualifications include proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), an EIPA score (3.5 or above) and state certification if required by the district, strong communication and professionalism, and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
