Job Requirements.
- Education Requirements: California School Nurse Credential (or pending with related admin tasks, no direct student interaction initially)*
- Certifications Requirements: None specified; valid California School Nurse Credential preferred*
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of school nursing experience; familiarity with hearing/vision screenings, medication training, CPR, IEP assessments, and sex education*
- Other Requirements: Ability to work across multiple school sites, serve both GenEd and SDC classes, and assist with complex nursing mandates; may require passing background checks and compliance with district protocols

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing services to students across district schools, ensuring compliance with health mandates and protocols.*
- Conduct hearing and vision screenings, and assist with medication training, CPR training, and sex education sessions.*
- Assist with IEP assessments and provide support for students in both GenEd and SDC classes.*
- Coordinate with school staff to ensure student health needs are met and maintained according to district guidelines.*
- Support implementation of state nursing mandates and district policies across multiple school sites.
