- EducationRequirements: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or Communication Sciences and Disorders) from an accredited program; ASHA certification track completion or equivalent required for licensure/placement*
- CertificationsRequirements: Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure for the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start); ASHA CCC (or eligible to obtain, based on applicable state requirements)*
- ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist*
- OtherRequirements: Standard Requirements; school-based experience preferred; ability to support students with communication disorders in a school setting; strong clinical documentation skills; collaboration with teachers, families, and school teams; professionalism, reliability, and adaptability during day shifts; compliance with school district policies; background check requirements consistent with school employment (including fingerprinting as required)

- Provide speech-language therapy services in a school setting (assessment, treatment planning, and direct services) aligned with student needs*
- Conduct evaluations and implement IEP/plan goals, maintaining accurate progress monitoring and documentation*
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support communication outcomes*
- Deliver evidence-based interventions targeting speech, language, and/or communication disorders*
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure services are delivered according to school/district schedules and compliance requirements
