Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to students, including first aid, emergency response, and medication administration
  • Manage chronic health conditions and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
  • Conduct health screenings (e.g., vision, hearing) and monitor immunization compliance
  • Support school health initiatives and deliver basic health education to students and staff
  • Serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and school personnel
  • Participate in IEP/504 planning when medical accommodations are needed
  • Train and support staff in emergency procedures (e.g., EpiPen, seizure response, CPR)

Job Details

  • Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
  • Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
  • Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School options

Successful Candidates Possess

  • ASN or BSN
  • An active or pending state licensure, or the ability to obtain (preferred)
  • Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
  • The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
