School Occupational Therapist OT

Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Kingston, NH Pay Rate: $50-55 / hour At Navra, we believe your career is more than a job, it’s a calling. As a K-12 school-based Occupational Therapist in Kingston, NH, your days will include

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skill needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs/504s) tailored to each student’s specific goals and educational needs.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to recommend accommodations and strategies that support student participation and success.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, progress notes, and service logs.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and parent conferences.
• Educate school personnel on the importance of sensory and motor development in the learning environment.
• Stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes affecting occupational therapy services in educational settings.
• Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and federal laws such as IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).

Job Details

• Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
• Hours: Part Time 
• Caseload: Prek - Middle School Caseload 

Successful Candidates Possess

• Masters and/or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
• An active or pending state licensure, or the ability to obtain (required)
• Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
• The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
