Job Description
Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Kingston, NH Pay Rate: $50-55 / hour At Navra, we believe your career is more than a job, it’s a calling. As a K-12 school-based Occupational Therapist in Kingston, NH, your days will include
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skill needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs/504s) tailored to each student’s specific goals and educational needs.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to recommend accommodations and strategies that support student participation and success.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, progress notes, and service logs.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and parent conferences.
- Educate school personnel on the importance of sensory and motor development in the learning environment.
- Stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes affecting occupational therapy services in educational settings.
- Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and federal laws such as IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
- Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
- Hours: Part Time
- Caseload: Prek - Middle School Caseload
- Masters and/or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
- An active or pending state licensure, or the ability to obtain (required)
- Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
- The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
