Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based position in Palos Heights, Illinois. This role focuses on supporting students academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being through assessment, consultation, and partnership with school teams.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families
Support the development of behavior intervention plans and MTSS initiatives
Assist with crisis intervention and student mental health support as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility)
School-based experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
Position Details:
