School Psychologist (Contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students in a K–12 school setting in Columbia, South Carolina for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, contract position serving diverse student populations and collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success.

Schedule Requirements

• Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

• Preferred: Face-to-face, on-site full-time

• Alternative option: Hybrid schedule of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote

• This schedule is non-negotiable

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments

• Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings

• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families

• Support academic, behavioral, social, and emotional interventions

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes

• Maintain compliant documentation and reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines

• Serve students across K–12 grade levels

Qualifications

• Must be certified or eligible for professional certification as a School Psychologist in South Carolina

• Experience working with K–12 students preferred

• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a school-based team
