School Psychologist
Location: Villa Park, IllinoisContract Dates: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027

As a K-12 school-based School Psychologist in Illinois, your days will include:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to develop effective strategies that promote student success.
Consult with multidisciplinary teams regarding evaluations, interventions, and student supports through MTSS and RTI processes.
Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral support, and problem-solving for students requiring additional services.
Maintain detailed documentation while ensuring compliance with IDEA, Illinois State Board of Education requirements, and district regulations.
Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth within an elementary school setting.
Job Details
Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
Start Date: August 17, 2026
End Date: May 28, 2027
Hours: 35 hours per week
Setting: Elementary School
Schedule Options:
One Full-Time School Psychologist
Two Part-Time School Psychologists
Hybrid option available for qualified candidates:
3 days onsite / 2 days remote
OR
4 days onsite / 1 day remote
Successful Candidates Possess
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (required)
Active Illinois School Psychologist License (required)
Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting
Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
New graduates are encouraged to apply
