School Psychologist

Location: Villa Park, IllinoisContract Dates: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027

As a K-12 school-based School Psychologist in Illinois, your days will include:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to develop effective strategies that promote student success.

  • Consult with multidisciplinary teams regarding evaluations, interventions, and student supports through MTSS and RTI processes.

  • Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral support, and problem-solving for students requiring additional services.

  • Maintain detailed documentation while ensuring compliance with IDEA, Illinois State Board of Education requirements, and district regulations.

  • Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth within an elementary school setting.

Job Details

  • Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting

  • Start Date: August 17, 2026

  • End Date: May 28, 2027

  • Hours: 35 hours per week

  • Setting: Elementary School

  • Schedule Options:

    • One Full-Time School Psychologist

    • Two Part-Time School Psychologists

    • Hybrid option available for qualified candidates:

      • 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

      • OR

      • 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

Successful Candidates Possess

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (required)

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist License (required)

  • Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting

  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
