School Psychologist
Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide remote school-based psychological services to students through a telehealth model. The School Psychologist will support students, families, and school teams through evaluation, consultation, intervention planning, and participation in special education processes.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong assessment skills, experience working in school settings, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a virtual environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Montana School Psychologist license/certification, or immediate eligibility for Montana licensure
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related qualifying field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school-based setting
- Knowledge of special education eligibility, IEP processes, MTSS/RTI, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide services through secure telehealth platforms
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate student records
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous telehealth or virtual school-based service experience
- Experience supporting students across a range of grade levels
- Familiarity with behavior intervention planning, FBAs, and BIPs
- Experience participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and eligibility determinations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and related assessments for students referred for special education or support services
- Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, timely, and professional evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, student support meetings, and other school-based team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, families, and other school personnel
- Support the development of individualized education plans, intervention plans, and student support strategies
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs
- Assist with MTSS/RTI processes, progress monitoring, and data-based decision-making
- Conduct or support Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans as needed
- Provide recommendations for classroom supports, accommodations, and interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, evaluations, parent contact, and required compliance timelines
- Follow all applicable professional, ethical, state, federal, and school-based requirements
- Participate in virtual meetings and maintain professional communication with school teams
- Perform other related duties as assigned based on student and district needs

- Telehealth/remote service delivery
- School-based caseload serving students in Montana
- Secure virtual platform and reliable internet connection required
- Schedule and caseload may vary depending on district needs
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, licensure, schedule, and caseload requirements.
