Job SummaryProvide assessment of students referred through the school support team process.QualificationsGraduate degree in School Psychology (REQUIRED)Valid Tennessee School Services License with an endorsement in the area of school psychology
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct
Dependable transportation to various locations
Alternatives to the above qualifications are subject to Tennessee licensure laws and Director of Schools DiscretionResponsibilities/Job DutiesReports to the Supervisor of Special EducationComplete comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations on students served through special education
Hold conferences with parents to review the psychologist's assessment results prior to the IEP meeting
Participate in IEP team meetings as needed to address assessment and evaluation issues
Provide consultation to teachers, parents and principals to improve the educational environment for students
Follow all state and federal laws and regulations and Campbell County Board of Education policies and procedures
Establish and maintain satisfactory, and respectful working relationships within the school environment
Perform other duties as assigned
