Job Description

- EducationRequirements: Bachelors degree in Psychology or related field (or equivalent education background in student/behavior support)
- CertificationsRequirements: RBT certification (or relevant experience); CPR and First Aid certified
- ExperienceRequirements: 1+ years of direct behavioral therapy/ABA or relevant behavioral intervention experience; able to perform behavioral intervention, data collection, and individualized plan implementation
- OtherRequirements: Must have RBT or relevant experience; school-based support experience with grades 512 strongly preferred; collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members; strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable full-time daytime availability (school schedule/onsite during the day); may require background check clearance; must be able to comply with W2 employment eligibility requirements (no visa sponsorship expected)

- Implement behavior interventions under ABA/BCBA direction and follow individualized behavior plans consistently in the school setting.
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately, maintain documentation, and support reporting on student progress.
- Assist with skill-building and supports across targeted goals while maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, families/parents, and the broader educational team to support student success.
- Support crisis prevention and safe response strategies as needed, using de-escalation techniques and following school procedures.
