Current Alaska RN license

Role Overview: As a School Nurse (RN) you will, provide primary health care and emergency services to students and staff, promote wellness, and serve as a health resource within the school community. This role supports student success by addressing health-related barriers to learning.Job Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday *
Dates: 26-27 School Year, ASAP to May 20,2027*
Hours: 7 hour days up to 35 hrs/wk*
Setting: Elementary School *
In-person only

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.*
Provide first aid and emergency care.*
Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures).*
Conduct contact tracing and illness follow-ups.*
Support individualized health plans for students with special needs.*
Maintain accurate student health records.*
Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies.
