Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans that conform to California Department of Education guidelines and charter policies, ensuring modifications for diverse student learning styles.
- Partner with special education teachers on IEPs and work with staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- Control student behavior in agreement with the student handbook and prepare a classroom environment that aids in physical, social, and emotional development.
- Establish rapport with parents, students, and principals through conferences and maintain professional relationships with community members.
- Enrich job skills through professional development, maintain all required reports and records, and participate in faculty meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science: Chemistry
- English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent)

Pay: $64,000 - $85,000 / year
