NOTICE: Pursuant to 20 C.F.R. § 656.10(d), this notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for the following job opportunity:
JOB TITLE &
Employer Name: Scientist, Data Science for XPO Enterprise Services, LLC.
LOCATION: 2055 NW Savier St., Portland, Oregon 97029.
JOB DUTIES: Analyze and interpret large data sets to identify opportunities that will improve XPO's operational and financial performance. Partner with technology and business stakeholders to create and enhance processes, software applications, metrics and decision-making. Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more facets of the operations. Perform various analytics that range in complexity from descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive and cognitive depending on the project. Apply Machine Learning, AI, statistical and/or optimization methods on an as needed basis. Multiple positions available. This position is open to telecommuting from anywhere in the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Primary Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Operations Research and Information Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or any related quantitative disc., or related field. and 1 year of experience as a Data Scientist or related occupation. Alternate Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Operations Research and Information Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or any related quantitative disc., or related field, and 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or related occupation.
Experience as specified above must include all of the following:
Data Science, operations research, or data analysis with a focus on advanced analytics.
Statistical modeling.
Machine learning.
Forecasting and optimization.
At least one of the following programming languages: Python, R, SQL, SAS, Spark, Java.
SALARY: $104,187.00 - $105,500.00/Year
