Request ID: 106806-1Title: Scrum Master Banking & Financial SLocations: Cleveland, OH 100% onsite Duration: 6+ MonthsPay Range: $45.00 - $48/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)Experience: 07+ Years We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead and coach multiple Agile teams within a banking and financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, team facilitation, stakeholder management, and delivery coordination while working in a regulated financial services environment.
The Scrum Master will be responsible for enabling high-performing, self-organizing teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing delivery impediments, improving team processes, and ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach multiple Scrum teams in Agile and Scrum practices.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Standups
- Backlog Refinement
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospectives
- Foster self-organizing, collaborative teams focused on delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Partner with Product Owners to support backlog management, prioritization, and Sprint goal alignment.
- Identify, track, escalate, and help remove impediments impacting team delivery.
- Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement across teams.
- Coordinate dependencies, risks, and collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor Scrum processes and optimize team effectiveness while minimizing external disruptions.
- Support Agile project planning, release readiness, and delivery transparency.
- Facilitate communication between business, product, technology, and operations teams.
- Drive adoption of Agile methodologies within regulated financial environments.
- Coach teams on Agile maturity, accountability, and delivery excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 10 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience as a Scrum Master supporting multiple Agile teams.
- Active certification such as:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- SAFe Scrum Master
- Strong experience working in commercial banking, treasury management, payments, ACH, Positive Pay, or financial services domains.
- Experience working in regulated environments with compliance and governance requirements.
- Proven experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum ceremonies, and Agile delivery practices.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile transformation initiatives.
- Experience coaching teams toward higher Agile maturity.
- Experience working with financial technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, payments, and treasury workflows.
- Ability to obtain stakeholder commitment and drive alignment across teams.
